Cullen Wines Established in 1971, Cullen Wines focuses on only the best quality wines, with a Wilyabrup sense of place and a sustainable philosophy. The maritime climate, rocky soils, dry farming and biodynamic practices all help create individual and diverse wine styles unique to Cullen. Grapes are hand harvested according to the astrological calendar. The wines have no added yeast, acid or malolactic culture, expressing the land on which they are grown, the vintage and the people. All Cullen Wines are grown on a certified Biodynamic, Carbon Neutral and naturally powered estate.

Moss Wood Bill Pannell, with a passion to grow the great French grape varieties in the Margaret River hinterland, chose and purchased the Moss Wood site for its soils and aspect in 1969. Moss Wood was the fourth founding vineyard of the famed Margaret River District. The first vintage of Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon took place in 1973. In 1984 the present owners Clare and Keith Mugford married, leased and became managing partners of Moss Wood Vineyard and Winery followed by ownership in 1985.

Vasse Felix was established in 1967 and is Margaret River’s founding wine Estate. Margaret River experiences the unique combination of a Mediterranean climate, maritime influence and ancient gravel-loam soils, ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Founder Dr Tom Cullity searched the region relentlessly for his vineyard site, selecting 8 acres in Wilyabrup which remains at the heart of Vasse Felix. Expansions have been made with equal consideration.
All winemaking from vine to bottle is controlled within the Estate. Fruit is treated in small parcels, and each barrel graded from the Icons, through the Premier, Filius and Classic tiers.
