Changes for the Margaret River Fun Run
The Rotary Club of Margaret River has decided to make changes to their annual Fun Run. Rotary has plans to hold the event around the grounds of one of our iconic wineries.
While the Fun Run has gone from town to the Rivermouth for many years, the traffic management and other logistic issues have become a major concern for the Club.
The new location and format will offer significant benefits for both runners and spectators, which include safer running conditions away from busy roads. This will ensure the event is more family friendly and inclusive.
The plan is to offer both the popular short walk/run for the casual joggers, and a more strenuous route for the runners, as in previous years.
In partnering with one of the wineries in the region and staging the run through the attractive environment, the Rotary Club is confident everyone will have a great time at the next Margaret River Rotary Fun Run.
