The opening days of spring and bright sunshine was on hand to welcome the members of Margaret River Rotary Club who tackled an over grown garden in the south of the town.

It was brought to our attention by a resident that they were finding difficulty in the general maintenance of their garden and having grown out of control through the winter things as you can see were looking pretty rough.

We assessed the garden and decided that a collective mornings work by club members would rectify the situation.

All the grass was cut, a large pile of garden waste burned and an old chook run demolished. The wood pile was moved to a better position, an old fence removed and large pile of old bricks disposed of. All the grass trimmings and debris were loaded into a trailer and taken to the tip.

Now the garden looks a lot better and hopefully can now be maintained by its owner possibly with the help of the neighbours.
