Rotary initiated and has led a worldwide polio eradication campaign since 1986, bringing governments, World Health Organisation and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation together into the campaign along the way. Now the world is more than 99% polio free, with only Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria remaining endemic. We’re this close! Let’s close the gap in 2013. www.endpolionow.org
